Lead QA (Head of QA)

Design and manage comprehensive testing processes for several monoliths, 50+ microservices, ensuring timely and accurate release cycles.

Develop and execute an automated QA roadmap to reduce time to market for new features and improve overall product quality.

Work closely with engineering teams to establish quality gates in the CI/CD pipeline, enabling seamless integration of testing and deployment processes.

Stay current with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices to continually improve the effectiveness of our QA processes.

Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple disciplines and levels to build quality-driven solutions, leveraging a combination of technical and interpersonal skills.

Lead and mentor QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and shared learning.

Monitor and report on key QA metrics, providing insights and recommendations for process optimization and product quality improvements.

Participate in the planning and execution of product releases, ensuring that quality standards are met and potential risks are identified and mitigated.

Expect to perform routine daily tasks using ChatGPT or a similar tool to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Proven experience in designing and implementing QA processes for complex, large-scale software systems.

Strong knowledge of testing tools, methodologies, and best practices, with a focus on automation.

Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools, and experience in integrating QA processes into the pipeline.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at various levels.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a high-performing QA team.

Fluent English

Proven familiarity and experience with AI tools like ChatGPT and other technologies, demonstrating a capability to seamlessly integrate these into daily tasks.
