Accessibility of services and digital channels
Below you will find an overview of the accessibility solutions currently in place, as well as any identified areas for improvement.
Website accessibility
✅ The website currently includes the following accessibility features:
-
Text-based content. Essential information is presented in text form, without relying solely on colour to communicate meaning.
-
Clear visual indicators. Information is conveyed using a combination of colours, icons and text, ensuring it remains understandable for users with colour vision impairments.
-
Well-structured content. Key elements such as navigation, headings and content sections are clearly structured and coded according to their purpose.
-
Keyboard accessibility. On most pages, users navigating by keyboard can clearly see which element is currently in focus, supporting easier and more intuitive navigation.
⚠️ The following elements currently have limited or impaired accessibility:
-
Content structure. In some areas, semantic HTML elements are used inconsistently, which may prevent screen readers from accurately interpreting the content hierarchy.
-
Interactive elements. Not all icons and interactive controls include descriptive text labels (e.g., aria-label).
-
Forms and notifications. Support for screen readers is currently limited for certain forms and dynamic messages.
-
Zoom and scaling. Enlarging text up to 200% may cause overlapping content or horizontal scrolling on some pages.
-
Keyboard navigation. Navigating dialog boxes or dropdown menus by keyboard is not always fully reliable.
-
Skip navigation. The Skip to content feature has not yet been implemented on all pages.
Mobile app accessibility
✅ The Paysera mobile app currently includes the following accessibility features:
-
Operating system compatibility. The app works with system-wide accessibility settings, including text scaling and other assistive features.
-
Clear and understandable information. Important content is never conveyed by colour alone; it is always accompanied by text descriptions or graphical symbols to ensure clarity for all users.
-
Distinct and recognisable controls. All interactive elements and buttons are clearly highlighted, making them easy to identify and use.
⚠️ The following elements currently have limited or impaired accessibility:
-
Screen reader compatibility. In certain areas, assistive technologies may not consistently interpret or read content accurately.
-
Descriptions for visual elements. Not all graphics and icons currently have corresponding text alternatives.
-
Text scalability. Some information is presented as images, so increasing the system font size may not affect the text or may reduce its clarity.
-
Alternative input methods. The app is not yet fully optimised for use with external keyboards or other alternative input devices.
