As a Linux System Administrator at Paysera, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organisation's Linux-based systems and infrastructure. You will work closely with other members of the IT Operations and Support Department to ensure that the organisation's technology systems and services are reliable, secure, and meet the needs of the business.
Your key responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems, including servers, storage systems, and network devices;
Monitor and maintain system performance, including system availability, reliability, and security;
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including system crashes, slow performance, and security incidents;
Develop and maintain system documentation, including system configuration and procedures;
Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls;
Collaborate with other members of the IT Operations and Support Department to ensure that IT systems and services meet the business's needs.
Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
What we're looking for:
At least 4+ years of experience in Linux system administration, preferably in a technology-intensive organisation;
Strong experience with Linux operating systems and system administration tools, such as RedHat, CentOS, or Ubuntu;
Strong experience with VMware ESXi, Proxmox, KVM, or similar
Administration of Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL (Redis, Mongo or similar);
Understanding and familiarity with the OSI Network Model;
Automation tools are a must (Ansible, Terraform, Helm, or similar);
Understanding of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, InfluxDB, APM);
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities;
Experience with creating and maintaining technical documentation
Good English language skills.
