Heat effect: online shoppers open their wallets wider in summer
Summer warms more than just the weather – it also heats up online shopping across the Baltic states. A three-year analysis by the financial technology company Paysera, based on millions of online transactions, reveals that the average value of online shopping carts between June and August rises by nearly 15% compared to the rest of the year. During this period, the average purchase reached EUR 84.28, highlighting a clear seasonal surge in consumer spending.
